Jeremiah 31: 1 - 5 “ The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your timbrels and go out to dance with the joyful.
Have you ever failed? You got egg all over your face and the whole world saw. The failure brought you embarrassment and shamed. In this scripture God says "You can do it over, and start again". More importantly, He's going to do it over in you. He's going to rebuild you, and give you a second chance. A second chance for that dream with renewed passion. A lot of times we say. “If I could do that again with the wisdom and knowledge that I know now, I would be successful.” I know I could redeem the mess that I made. God says that He is giving us a second chance to do it again. He's going to rebuild us again, fresh and anew. And what's going to happen is we're going to take up an instrument, of praise, a percussive instrument and we're going to dance with joy. Dance is an expression of joy ,and excitement that is going on in the heart. Dance is the universal way of to express victory. God has given you a dance of renewal and victory. Even if you don't feel like it, dance. As you dance you will begin to rejoice on the inside and you will see God rebuilding you. So pick up that tambourine and dance. Dance like a new bride starting a new life with her beloved bridegroom. God is giving you a second chance to do it over, because He is rebuilding you.
The Lord is rebuilding you so that you will dance with power.
Jeremiah 31:3-4. "I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt, O Virgin Israel." Again you will take up your tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful."

Your Labor Is Not In Vain Jeremiah 31: 13 -17.
Listen to the Rebuild and Dance devotions from Jeremiah 31:13-17" Your Labor Is Not In
Vain" here .
“Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty,” declares the Lord. This is what the Lord says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.” This is what the Lord says: “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord. “They will return from the land of the enemy. So there is hope for your descendants,” declares the Lord. “Your children will return to their own land. The Lord is causing us to dance. Dancing is the response of God's reviving, rebuilding, rejuvenating us, and setting us on fire again. Sometimes you just need the fire rekindled. Especially those of us who in church work, and are worship leaders. The Bible says "The young women will dance and the old too!" Even the men are going to be dancing. The old men may need a cane, but they're going to still dance because God is rejuvenating them and He's turning their mourning into gladness. Jeremiah 31: 13-17 tells us four things.
1."He shall reward our work" Our work shall be rewarded, our labor shall be rewarded. 2."Our children shall return from the enemy. 3."God is going to give us hope for the future". 4.The forth one must be pretty important to God because just in those four verses He said it twice “Your children shall return from the enemy.”
I just celebrated a birthday last week. When my birthday comes around I always ask the Lord what does He have for me next. A few birthdays ago I asked the Lord to show me the real value of dance. One of the things that He impressed upon me, is that dance is a healing ministry and a healing art. Click on the link below to listen to a short audio, and lets talk about it.
Hello, this is Jocelyn Richard, and welcome to Motivation for Ministry.
Listen, I was reading to day again, 2 Samuel 6:14 and it talks about how
David danced before the Lord with all of his might.
And that dance he did was a very vibrant, masculine dance. It wasn't a
pirouette on point.
But it was leaping, and jumping, and twirling aimlessly and vibrantly for
Now why did David dance before the Lord with all his might?
Well let me tell you something it wasn't for a worship conference or for a
special Christmas program at church or for performance and a wonderful
theater or for exercise are getting in shape. But this dance was a gift for God.
It was an act of devotion and appreciation to his Lord for giving him a second chance.
It was also appreciation to God for his presence, for the Arc of the Lord
just was returned today, after many years.
And the Arc represents God's presence. So our dance is really an act of gratitude
and devotion to the Lord for his presence.
I want to encourage you to incorporate a mighty, powerful dance in your devotion
time with the Lord! Listen, I'm a dance minister, I'm a dance teacher.
I teach in the community, I help churches throughout North America start dance ministries,
and I'm always talking and teaching leaders.
But sometimes I forget that really my main purpose for my dance is to worship Jesus.
And it's important for you and me to spend time alone giving this dance back to the Lord. Not only for church, not only for the community or whether were involved in a dance company, or teaching, or to get in shape, or to lose weight. But really like David did, let's get up in the morning and let's pray verbally, and let's sing. But also, put on some music and just twirl before the Lord, leap before the Lord, dance, bow, lift up your hands before Jesus. Give your dance back to the Lord as an instrument of devotion to Him, out of appreciation for His presence in your life. I guarantee that the Lord will find so much delight in this dance. And He will delight over you with a dance. And you will get closer to your Father, and enjoy your time together in an even more and intimate way. Well, that's all for today here in North America at Motivation for Ministry. Thank you so much for listening, and please keep in touch, may contact with me. I want this to be a dialog, not just me talking, but us talking with each other together. I would love to hear from you. God bless. Until next time, remember to enjoy the praise dance life.
Let CNN and the local news report the sad stories. Our dance tells the Good News and the joyous part of life, the danceable part of life. The dance can convey a visual message that it doesn’t matter what is going on bad in the news. God is still on the throne and He’s a miracle worker. Let’s bring the joy and the glory of the Lord to every situation as we worship Him in the dance of joy. Psalm 30:11 says “you have turned for me my mourning into dancing”. That tells me that no matter what might be going on in the world today or even in our individual lives, it’s time to dance. We have to remember that our worship through dance should be an evergreen message of hope, joy, and restoration. Let us dance and bring on the joy. When the world is sad they sing and dance the blues. They even have a music style known as Rhythm and Blues. When Christians and worship dancers are sad, we fight back with rejoicing. For we trust that God will and has turned our mourning into dance. While the world is sad and worried about things, we must hope in God and dance the dance of joy.
