Is It Time To Praise Dance

In times of fear, and terrorism; is it still time to dance?  Recently in the United States we have been having multiple attacks, against innocent people by terrorists.  And so, it begs us to ask the question, those who are involved in worship arts, and leading worship praise dance, liturgical dance, singing, rejoicing, and those who are always supposed to be in the front smiling and lifting others up; the question is is it time to praise dance? Psalm 8 says "The Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  You have set your glory in the heavens.  Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.  When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? "   The second verse, it says "Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger."  Liturgical dance is a way that we praise the Lord and exult the Lord.  Singing and clapping and using the instruments is how we praise the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  And this Scriptures tells us, that God uses praise even out of the mouth of innocent children to silence the enemy, to silence the avenger, to establish a stronghold, an assault against the evil one.  And anything that is against life, that destroys life is anti-Christ, is of the devil, but we have the victory.  So is it time to dance?  Yes, it's time to dance.  But make sure your dance is of praise and worship to the Lord, because the Bible says he inhabits the praises of his people.  He is in the presence of his people and where is presence is there is victory, there is liberty, there is protection.  So is it time to dance in the midst of terrorists attacks. Dance before him, because he uses your praise to silence the enemy, to silence the avenger.email updates.

Rejoice Praise Dance Choreography

 

In this video I share a praise dance choreography movement phrase that you may use in your worship dances for Jesus. Choreography for worship liturgical dance must be impactful. The dance must inspire those that watch to want to dance in the freedom of pure worship to the Lord. Choreography that is impactful, will spark a desire within the onlooker to get involved and not remain a spectator. The dance ministry leader should interact with the audience to bring them into the worship experience. Worship dance is not a spectator’s sport; nor is it entertainment. Worship dance choreography should provide an environment that facilitates the onlooker to feel free to worship and praise in the dance. Dance is a moving picture. Consistent with the adages that in effect state that a “picture paints a thousand words,” the sight of something leaves impressions etched upon the brain seemingly forever.
